Vehicle Transport
All of our pets onboard travel in a climate controlled cabin monitored for their comfort. All of our kennels are separated by solid panels, so that no pet can touch another. Safe conditions are our number one priority.
Kennels
Our kennels are cleaned and disinfected prior to your pets kenneling. We use puppy pads for the puppies, to line the kennels to minimize trips outside and to minimize contact with the ground. For the safety of all pets on board, we avoid Rest Stops and Large Fueling stations.
Our Credentials and Insurance
We are a Certified Class-T Pet Transporter, certified through the USDA under the Animal Care Act. We carry Pet Care Insurance for all pets on board. We provide this at no cost. It covers each pet up to $5,000 for Veterinarian care and we have a Veterinarian on call service during transport.
Vaccinations
Each pet will be required to be up to date on their vaccinations and a recent health check. Vaccination records must accompany each pet in order for them to be on board. We ask that you do not overfeed your pet or use de-wormer on the day of transport. Doing either of these can cause your pet to be car sick during transport.
What we provide and expectations
We provide each pet with its own kennel, unless the pets come from the same litter. If you still request its own kennel we’ll provide one at no extra cost. We provide water bowls, leashes, puppy pads and all things necessary for clean up. We do ask that you send a two day supply of food that your pet is used to eating and that your the pet is freshly bathed for travel.
Communication
Once you book us, we’ll be in constant contact with you, the buyer. We will also coordinate with your breeder to arrange pick-up. As we travel, we’ll provide you with updates as to where we are and updated GPS arrival times. We will send you pictures of your pet and let you know how they are traveling. We do ask that you be patient as we do our best with arrival times. Traffic is the #1 unpredictable factor in our delays, as well as weather and pets needs. Puppies and traffic are an unpredictable combination, but we keep you updated on everything we are experiencing.
